How to Build Facebook Fan Pages that Sell Stuff
June 13, 2012
You are on Facebook to Sell Stuff.
Let’s start here. Your business fan page exists so that you can sell stuff. It doesn’t exist to build community or engage fans, it’s there to increase your bottom line profitability. If it’s not, you very well may be wasting your time.
The disconnect between profits and Facebook fan page activity is to be blamed for the hordes of abandoned fan pages. People start them in earnest, excited to build their business and make more money. Well, the fans don’t come and neither does the money…right away at least. This is the dip on Facebook. In order to power through it, you are going to need to get some things right.
Create a Facebook fan page that makes your business more profitable.
Below is a presentation slide deck I created for a webinar training I did for Launch Carroll, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce‘s young professional group. It highlights the keys to building a successful and profitable fan page. If you are struggling with your fan page, I hope you will find this presentation insightful. Remember, stay positive and be consistent. If your fan page is currently collecting dust, may this slide deck give you the inspiration to clean it up and get going again.
